Lotus Desaru Beach Resort & Spa

I recently stayed at Lotus Desaru Beach Resort & Spa with my family and we had a great time! 1) Book three 2 bedroom and One Single bedroom. a)Single bedroom in the first floor Need refurbished. Wadrobe n Cabinet a bit old. And as its in level 1, there’s alot of ants. b)The 2 bedroom we had in 3rd level B block are not bad. Great if some refurbished Be done but overall its a Great place with room for improvement. The rooms could use an uplift and fresh modern look, but they were still good enough for the price we paid. 2) The resort has a fantastic water park that was super fun for the kids considering its complementary.The lazy river was the highlight of our trip but it’s slippery on some sections and need staff to coordinate the timing of each person as not only me, even my family members n some others waterpark users was hit by next person sliding down the lazy river. 3) The seafood restaurant by the beach was also a standout. More on the expensive side considering there are quite a number of seafood restaurants around the area but the service are fast and the restaurant staff are superb. Overall, we had an awesome family vacation at The Lotus Desaru Beach Resort & Spa and would definitely recommend it to others!

I was there with my husband and our three kids, and it truly felt like a one-stop holiday destination for our family. We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, and my kids had a wonderful time—they absolutely loved the place, especially the water park and the buggy service. My husband and I really enjoyed the wide variety of food options, and of course, the staff were friendly and welcoming. It's definitely a great place for a family getaway.

Very convenient place to stay; with all outdoor and indoor activities under one roof (Eg: Jets ski, parasailing, band wagon, banana boat, etc) & pool, gaming room, gym etc. Breakfast with a variety of spread was fantastic. Staff are efficient in rendering assistance & information. Security guards made their rounds in ensuring safety and security. Retail store/ minimart has everything. The Indian food at the resort was great. The rooms were spacious and I managed to get an upgrade to a 2 room suite the next day (be mindful of the cost, eg weekend vs weekday). The sea sport activities are affordable and there is a greater variety here as compared to the other resorts. The outdoor area was used to entertain children. But do not expect 5 star facilities here in the room, as it can be a bit jaded with old furniture and rustic bathrooms, but that is why this resort is among the cheaper ones at Desaru. This was not much of a problem for us as we only came back to the rooms to sleep and rest. It is a 5-7min drive to the fruit farm where you can consume fruits, juices ad coconut drink at the eatery outside the farm. KFC and other eateries are just a 5 minute drive away.

Strategic location. Beach access. Friendly staffs. Especially Ms Ben. She has a good communication skill & she assisted us in the funfair corner when the snooker ball got stucked. She was really helpful & friendly. Lot of activities & has 3 restaurants. We've tried all the 3 restaurants. Teratai for malay food, rhu seafood restaurant for chinese food. Oh yes, their small portion is like medium- sized can eat up to 4pax. Lotus spices for Indian food. Chicken briyani & tosai were too delicious and flavourful. I dont mind coming here again. On top of that, we've witnessed hornbill too! Great place for relaxation!
